British Navy Chief-of-Staff Admiral Sir Philip Andrew Jones and the accompanying delegation visited the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF), Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
They were received by RBNF Commander Commodore Mohammed Youssef Al-Ghatam, Lieutenant Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and other senior officers.
British Navy Chief-of-Staff Admiral Sir Philip Andrew Jones was briefed about the organization and duties of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF), as well as stages of development and armament.
Meanwhile, Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief , Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al-Shaikh.
The Commander-in-Chief praised the strong relations between the two countries and their keenness to develop them.
For his part, BDF Chief-of-Staff, Lieutenant General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi received Brigadier General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Tamimi, Saudi Military Attaché in Bahrain.
The Chief-of-Staff reviewed the strong relations between the two countries, and their continuous cooperation in the military field.
